Van Buren Elementary School

Our Principal

Hello Van Buren Families!

I am thrilled and honored to be a part of such a fantastic group of professionals, families and students here at Van Buren Elementary! This is my 21st year working in education for the School District of Janesville.

Over the past years, I have been a Kindergarten teacher, Head Teacher for Summer School, and for the past five years, a principal.

I grew up in the state line area, graduated from Hononegah High School, received my bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL, and completed my master's degree in Educational Administration from UW-Madison.

My mom still lives in Rockton, IL and my family resides in Janesville. I have 2 daughters, Baleigh (9th grade) at Parker High School, Sydney (7th grade) at Franklin Middle School, and a son, Jaxon (5th grade) at Van Buren Elementary. My husband, Jameson, is a physical education teacher and athletic director at Franklin Middle School. Over the summer we've enjoyed boating, swimming and vacationing on the ocean.

Heading into my 6th year at Van Buren, I am excited to be working with you and getting to know each and every one of the amazing kids here at Van Buren even better. I look forward to supporting the staff and students as we continue to engage learners, grow leaders, and create community! Thank you for the gift of working with your child.

Enjoy your visit on our webpage. GO EAGLES!!

Sincerely, Stephanie Pajerski, Principal
