Van Buren Elementary School

September 25 thru October 16, 2017 - Please help provide warm winter wear of families in need in Janesville and North Rock County.  Donations may be made from September 25 thru October 16, 2017.  We will have a barrel located in our entry of the school starting on the 25nd, please do not send items until then. 

Needed are clean children's and adult's winter coats, snow pants, scarves , hats, gloves, mittens, and boots.  Please no adult dress coats, broken zippers, light-weight coats or summer clothing. 

Distribution of winter items will be on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 9:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Center located on the corner Glen and Sutherland.  Children must be present to receive a coat and proof of residence is necessary.  Coats/items will be clean, free and available for all ages. This is a community service project of the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary.
